Supervised educational research of a topic that is situated within the context of teaching and learning in higher education.
HEDU 590 is a reflection-based inquiry practice paper, requiring a student to design and carry out a small research project. Students learn skills and techniques for collecting original data on their topic of interest and analysing and presenting results. It is encouraged that students identify questions originating from their own experiences or relating to their work. However, a project can be an extension of a completed theoretical paper, such as HEDU 502. Recommended data collection methods include, but are not limited to, questionnaires, interviews, observation, content/theoretical analysis, learning analytics or user traces. A student works on HEDU 590 under the supervision of an academic staff member throughout the project.

I would like to thank Phong Nguyen for identifying a few typographical errors in the initial version. I rather did submit it in a rush and it shows!
